Let’s recap, this is the marriage that lasted ONLY 72 days and it was over. Both of them were celebrity status in their own right. He came to the table with his own money and she did as well. However, it seems as if her “celebrity status” was quite a bit more significant than his.

One would think when people want to end a marriage and there are no children involved, it shouldn’t take long to get it over with. Not in this particular case. From what I have read this divorce is taking a lot longer than the marriage took. He says the marriage was fake. She says she really loved him.

Behind the scenes they both are well aware of what really took place. How many people are also involved when it comes to the media story? Is she trying to please mom? Is he trying to ensure that he gets more money than what was given during the wedding? Really we will not ever know the whole story but they will.

What happened to the love that “allegedly existed in this marriage”?  When it gets so ugly it does make me wonder if they ever loved each other? Did they truly know who they were marrying? Would they have ever thought it was going to get like this when they AGREED to saying “I Do” back on that faithful day?

For those in your life that are engaged, celebrity or not – money is no joke. Encourage them to take their time, get to know each other and talk about money.
