I’ve never really given alarm systems much thought but these days, as crime rates in my town continue to rise, I’m starting to consider security systems in Florida as a measure to protect myself. While I’d love to move, the real estate market isn’t going to let me sell my house for what I would like. Rather than take a loss I’m thinking I will spend that money protecting my investment. I was always afraid having one would be more headache than it’s worth but I’m beginning to think the peace of mind having it would bring would be worth the hassle. I’m going to do some research this weekend. I don’t want anything fancy. No security cameras or beeping every time the door opens, just an alarm to sound if the door is opened after it is set and someone to monitor it. Hopefully I can find something simple for my sensibility and budget!
